Activities Of Sierad Foundation 2004

Providing aids to victims of the flood, assistance the improvement of people's nutrition, assistance to the schools, and social activities assisting employees of PT Sierad Produce.

1.	For the first three months of 2004, in rainy season, there was flood occurred in some parts of Jakarta and West Java. Sierad Care Foundation provided its support for victims in Kerawang through the Posko Peduli Banjir DPC PDIP party in the District of Karawang West Java. The contributions were in the form of 3 (three) tons of rice, 750 kg of chicken eggs, 14 rescue boat and life jackets.

2.	Sierad Care Foundation contributed 357 whole chicken in order to fulfill the society nutrition improvement and to conduct the campaign of whole chicken consuming. The foundation contributed:
	a.	whole chicken for Al-Mutmainah Foundation, which covers orphanage foundation, Nurul Iman Orphanage Foundation and Widows as well as Old Age People around the factory in Jonggol,
	b.	whole chicken for Praying Council of Dangdeur and Gembong Village in Balaraja around the Sierad Produce unit of Balaraja. This assistance was prioritized for the old age people, widows and orphaned children.
	c.	whole chicken for Marsudi Putra Foundation, which covers Social Rehabilitation and Work Training Facility under the wing of Social Department of West Java Province and "Mama Sayang" House of Care for orphaned children - around subsidiary in Jonggol.

3.	The attention for local community on education aspects, Sierad Care Foundation provided the school some study desks and chairs to the Islamic School of Ibtida'iyah As Syarrifiyah - located around the unit in Lebak Wangi .

4.	Besides providing social assistance to the community around our subsidiaries, Sierad Care Foundation also provides assistance to its employees, for instance Sierad Produce will still help employees who really need financial assistance for their medical even they have reached their insurance limit. For this case, Sierad Produce will carefully consider its help that the person is really injured because of illnesses or accident.

5.	Besides social activities which has the character for maintaining the relationship with public area outside the company (the society around the business are), the Sierad foundation also helping out for PT. sierad Produce Tbk employees which has accident/ illness because sometimes the cost that being needed more than the fund that being given by the company through the insurance, while on the other hand those employee need the fund.
