Significant growth of selling volume in Feedmill division promotes the increased net profit. Corporate Secretary of Sierad Produce, Elies Lestari Setiawan said that the sales of Feedmill division has risen up to 25% despite the increase of selling products by the Company. Net sales  for semester I-2008 increased 60% to Rp 1,1 trillion. Around 57% of the Company’s sales are contributed by Feedmill division” she remarked to the press conference to Investor Daily in Jakarta, Monday (11/8).

She explained that the Company will promote the Contract Growing (Kemitraan) to support the sales of all Sierad's divisions. The Company planned to develop a breeding farm at investment value amounting to Rp. 300 billion to meet the increase of 30% of Day Old Chick (DOC).

In line with targeted financial performance of company until the end of year, Elies said that the company is optimist to record net profit up to 45 billion and sales up to Rp 2 trillion in 2008. “We are optimist realizing the target after reveiweing the achieved target in the first semester of the present year” she remarked.
